Campers opting for Luxury RVs over Tents
Roughing it just isn’t as appealing to the people as it used to be.
But the good news for RV campers is that they aren’t bothered by drizzly weekend weather.
Industry statistics show that one in four people in Alberta and Saskatchewan own an RV, says Jaques Landry of Village RV in Regina.
Landry said that even the RV dealers are surprised how well the high end models are selling in 2014.
At his dealership, a nearly 12 metre RV with lavish furnishings such as a leather couch, fireplace and king size bed, will sell for $80,000 to $90,000.
But with more and more people choosing RVs instead of tents, RV parks are under pressure to expand sites and services to match this new trend. At Springs RV Resort, we have several types of lots for sale, at various price points. You can have exclusive ownership, or enjoy occasional use and receive rental income from daily and seasonal guests. See our RV lots for sale, or find out RV lot rentals.
