This spring, April 2008, our new park, The Springs RV Resort at Harrison will open its gates. It has come a long way from the rustic tenting area it once was. Today our seven-and-a-half acre resort is a home for 150 RV owners who may visit from afar for a short stay or be a seasonal member of our community. The vision is to retain the park’s natural beauty and create an idyllic retreat where you can join a community of friends who appreciate a “kick-back-and-relax” casual lifestyle surrounded by the best that super, natural British Columbia has to offer.
The Springs, formerly known as Bigfoot Campground has been part of the Harrison Hot Springs community for over thirty years. It originally opened as a campground and adopted the name of the local legendary forest creature, the mighty Bigfoot. It soon became a landmark destination where families escaped their busy city lives to enjoy camping amongst the majestic cedars while having all the activities of a lakeside beach resort and marina at their doorstep. It is our long history and thriving community of seasonal RVers that have truly shaped the spirit and vision of our new Springs RV Resort at Harrison.
